A current favorite. I do not recall what inspired this one, but I apparently have cultivated a taste for bourbon!
Temperance
Ingredients:
1 3/4 oz Stirrings brand simple bellini mix
1 1/2 oz vodka
3/4 oz bourbon (I use Old Forresters)
1/5 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/4 oz Chambord
Lemon peel
Sprigs of fresh thyme
Directions:
Prepare garnish in advance. Mix liquids in a shaker along with 4 standard size ice cubes. Place sprigs of thyme and lemon peel vertically along the side of a whiskey glass. Fill glass with ice to secure garnish in place. Pour cocktail and serve.
